Move Your Power Supplier – Why?

In the UK, 16% of greenhouse gas emissions come from electricity generation. We need to reduce this to zero.

You can make the difference by buying power from companies like Ecotricity, Good Energy, and Octopus who generate most of their power from 100% renewable (non-polluting) sources. Others, like Ripple Energy, allow you to buy a share in renewable energy generation and get your power ‘direct’. Some of these companies can also help you install home batteries, rooftop solar panels and energy-saving heat pumps too.

Businesses can do the same, or can use Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) to invest directly in (and buy) renewable energy. This can offer cost certainty against market volatility and prevailing inflation.  

Take Action!

Move your home power to a 100% renewable supply. Talk to them about energy saving and battery installation. There are a number of ways to access financial support through grants to improve your home energy efficiency that are set out by Money Saving Expert, Martin Lewis.
